Jack Stack

Jack Stack is known in the Czech Republic as a charismatic chairman and CEO of the Česká spořitelna bank (Erste Bank Group) during 2000-2007. During this period he had been successful in reforming large bank institution into a profitable and well managed firm, and setting up foundation to a strategic approach to social responsibility of the Bank. Recently he has retired but remains a member of Advisory Board of the Erste Bank Group.

His career started in New York in 1970 when working in the team of the mayor of New York City. Since 1976 he had worked on various positions in Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank, where he served as a vicepresident for marketing and public affairs.
